Game 2 - Getting Clear About Priorities
Introduction
The focus of careers work can be on the well-being of individuals in their work roles, on contributing to the economic and social well-being of the community, or on helping people in their wider life roles. In all cases the resulting priorities are a matter for policy.

Policy describes the purposes to which careers work should be put. It enables us to map a direction for valuable development. It is then one of the ways in which we can answer the question ‘why is careers work such a good idea?’. It is also one of the ways in which we can see what kind of reform is now necessary.
